1. Women’s Ministry Conference- God’s Timing, Not Mine: Join us for God’s Timing…Not Mine Conference on Saturday, May 9th, from 9:30 am-2pm. It will be a wonderful, FREE day of encouragement and inspiration celebrating God’s perfect timing in our lives! Sign up in the connection center today.
2. Men’s Movie Night-May 15th. 7pm in the sanctuary. Documentary called - Free Burma Rangers. It is a true story of a family compelled by Christ to bring love into war. This night is for any guy - teenage and up – but viewer discretion is advised – we live in a world where there is some real evil – and very few punches are pulled in the footage from Burma and Iraq, showing some of the real horrors that take place in our world. Come and Be encouraged to take the directions of Jesus seriously and to Share the love of Jesus despite the personal pain and risk.
3. Missions Fundraiser- Fresh flower arrangements will be available for a $5 donation on Mother’s Day, May 10th. All donations will go towards an upcoming Compassion International Mission Trip to Bolivia of one of our River Valley families. Look for the table in the main entryway at the end of the 8:00 service, prior to the 9:30 service, and prior to the 11:00 service.

5. Elijah Livestream Make Up Day- The Elijah Secret Church livestream will be re-aired on Friday, May 8th from 6pm-10pm in the Sanctuary. If interested in getting a workbook or need more information, please contact Chris at christopherjay02@gmail.com.
6. Shoe Drive-Are you looking to get rid of your old shoes? During the month of May, the Pacific Court community group and RVAC will be partnering with a local ministry called Soles for Jesus for a shoe drive. Soles for Jesus collects shoes, delivers them to people in sub-Saharan Africa, and, most importantly, shares the Gospel. All new and used shoes are accepted - all types and sizes. There will be a bin set up in the Welcome Center where shoes can be donated. Along with your shoe donation, please consider a $1/pair donation to help with shipping costs. You can get involved by donating your shoes or by sponsoring a portion of shipping costs! For more information contact Ashley Alvarez or Amee Mertens.
